World Info RP Information

Free-form RP.

I have stories and plots n mind, if a major story or plot is needed. I also have many assignments, tasks, classes, trips, and tests thought up to give PCs something to do and force PC-to-PC RPing.

World

Modern part of the world. Big cities, electricity, cars, toilets, stoves, refrigerators, *computers, *television, etc. Things that do not exist though, are planes (Airships replace them), and guns (I don't like guns). Why guns do not exist will never be questions. The thought of creating a gun will never happen. Cannons do exist though.

*Purely for teaching purposes.

Fantasy part. Magic, airships, monsters, demons, non-human races, special abilities, medieval weaponry, large open spaces between each town/city.

The geography of the world will be made up as we go. It's a lot easier that way. Like any fantasy world, there will be every type of climate and environments imaginable all on one world. I will be keeping track everything made as we go along, and eventually put it together.

The School for Gifted Individuals

Like the world, this will be made up as we go along. When a new wing is needed, it will suddenly have been there the entire time.

The goal of this school is to keep the world safe by collecting anyone who could possibly create chaos and destruction, and teach them not to. Preferably, they want the students to become heroes who go around saving people, but their main goal is to make sure the students don't became evil. They do this through lessons, teaching law, teaching morals, creating a nice environment, and have students/teachers hunt down law breakers, then punish them in the school for the students to see.

Almost all of the teachers are great heroes. Mostly, when a hero is nearby, they will stop to teach students for a while, then go back to heroing. Some of the teachers are previous students who never got into the whole "hero" thing, and decided to teach students. Most of the non-teaching staff (Janitors, cafeteria people, etc) are gifted as well.

Students can be of any age. This is for two reasons. Age of enrollment (Unnoticed until X age), and graduations (How well they control their gift, does it seem like they are likely to raid a village, are they mature, etc). Same goes for teachers (The age thing).

Students all live at the school, and are roomed together (Amount of roommates is undecided at the moment). Teachers who are not traveling heroes live at the school as well.

Students are provided with the basics needed to survive. Every time equipment is needed for a class/trip/task/test, it is provided for the time the student needs it. Students can however take jobs in the school, which will give them money. The school has several shops, or, for an extra charge, students can order something from places outside of the school.

Note that the school is not evil. It will not force a gifted person to enroll in their school. It merely tries to get them and their family to want the enrollment. Most people accept however, because of several reasons (Honor to be in the school, learn to fight, very poor, family gets money, etc).

Classes

Teachers hold classes as they see fit. Students can go to these classes as they see fit.

For example, if a swordmaster comes to the school, he may teach sword fighting lessons and about swords for three months, three times a week. Any student who wants to learn about swords and fighting can go.

For tests, the teacher must first get it the test and themselves approved by the head masters of the school. Then students, regardless of taking the classes or not, can take this test.

Back to the swordmaster, before he leaves, he holds a test. If any student passes, those students are allowed to use any avaliable school sword when they want.

For tasks and assignments, the head masters choose students to do errands for them. Perhaps some wild wolf demons have been killing to many deer for _____ village, so a group of students, along with a teacher, are sent out to deal with the wolves.

For trips, it's the same as tests, except students just go along, not passing to get X reward..

Note that at any time, a teacher can refuse to teach/test/take along a student, if they feel they are not fit for what the teacher is doing. Swordmaster again, he comes back to teach advanced sword fighting. Some rookie tries to get into the class, swordmaster easily noticed his lack of skill with a sword, and refuses to teach him.

Races

Every kind of race exist, except for demi-dragons. Only kind of dragon is pure dragon.
