Forever Zero -
Name: Dezil Eternion
Race: Human
Age: 33
Sex: Male
Appearance: A big man at about six feet two inches tall, and somewhat heavyset. His bright, curely red hair and beard obscure most of his face, but a short, broad nose and blue eyes still make for defining features, as the twinkle of new ideas can usually be seen in his eyes. Normally we wears a pair of overalls with a plain white shirt underneath, and a thick black overcoat, the inside of which is lined with pockets that hold various tools and gadgets he is always working on.
Gift: A Gift for Technology. Dezil can take what others would see as mundane items, and turn them into weapons or gadgets with amazing properties. He can expand on pretty much any piece of technology if given the right equipment and some time.
Personal Belongings: Tool Kit: Dezil found he was dissapointed with the old, overused tools the School gave him for missions, so he decided to get a new kit of his own with his saved money. It comes with all the basics any mechanic could need, along with some specialty tools for specific jobs in the machines he works on in his free time.

Personality: Normally quiet, unless you are asking about his gadgets. Tends to be a bit shy, but is loyal to those he considers to be his friends. Works hard, as long as it is on something that interests him like a new piece of technology, and otherwise tends to lose interest quickly.

Job: Mechanic and general handyman around the school, fixing whatever breaks. He also makes some spare cash by selling some of his inventions at local markets.

Appearance: 6'0", 180 lbs, light skin, dark hair, brown eyes, prefers to wear earth-tones, but will wear other colors if forced to (ie, uniforms)
Gift: Emopathy, the sensing and projecting of emotions. (can tell what others are feeling, but not the thoughts ascociated with those emotions. if someone has stolen something, guilt will be detected, but exactly what was done will be unknown. i will start not being able to consciously project, only doing so in posts made by ihmn or a co-gm if one is chosen where he considers my mental stress high enough, and i will use it consciously once he okays it. this is stuff like striking fear into the hearts of the enemy or making somebody like me)
Personal Belongings: a cooking set (he didn't like the one provided, reason he uses it provided in personality)
History: Born in a village community, he knew everyone around him rather well. He didn't yet know what his power was, or even that he had one, he only knew that he preferred to be around happy people. He remained undetected until an army marched through taking supplies, threatening everyone. Since he was small for his kind, he was unable to do much except cower in fear. When some of the soldiers found him, they decided to have fun and so they started beating him up. At around this time, his fear was so great that he could no longer contain it. It spilled forth as he unknowingly amplified it, frightening the soldiers half out of their wits. He was unable to explain what had happened to the rest of the village, so they were suspicious of him, and they kicked him out, but there were a couple of people who gave him the basics needed to survive, such as a weapon and a blanket and the like. He wandered for a week before encountering a wandering hero who was looking for the large power that had been detected in the area. After hearing his story in full, the hero felt that Draemos may have been the person he was looking for, and so he brought him back to the school.
Personality: being an emopath, he prefers to be around happy people, so he tries to make them happy by doing nice things, working them through problems and the like. this gets him lots of friends, but they are all just friends

Job: Whatever is available (he does odd jobs to be helpful, and since he is well liked people give him whatever spare change might be available despite the fact that he doesn't ask for any rewards.)

Appearance: Wears basically normal clothing, jeans white T-shirt, he isn't muscular, but not skinny either. Has short dark brown hair. Light brown eyes.
Gift: Has the ability to focus energy and make a weapon, any weapon. The outline of the weapon would a appear, and in a few seconds poof, new weapon. If the weapon would leave Razma's hand, it disappears. Any weapon he makes, he can use like anyone else trained with that weapon
History: Razma got his ability to make weapons from a demon when he was young. His dad was a skilled fighter and was taking on a demon and caused a fatal wound to it. Razma wondered in unexpectedly and the demon tried to infuse itself within Razma. His dad managed to stop it from completely entering Razma, but some of him got in. The demon could summon great creatures, but Razma was left with just weapon summoning, and the skills to use them. The side affect of this was that Razma had a whisper inside his head, tempting him to do something. After a few years without help, his parent heard of the School and off he went.
Personality: The demon in his head has caused some rebelion, but over all Razma keeps his cool. He is quite friendly and trys to be nice, but he has a very hard time taking orders when he is not in the mood. Also he tends to be a little be eager to enter battle. Some blame it on the demon, but Razma confesses that he gets a lot of fun out of fighting something.

History: His mother could handle him, a trouble maker indeed. She finally sent him off too "school" when he hurt someone badly. After 2 years at school he was displined enough too venture out with other students and not harm anyone. He made quick progress and picked up many friends. He has been at the school for about 50 years. At those 50 years he has been training with his sword too become a faster but more careful fighter. He has been awarded metals for his fighting skills though tourments.
Personality: Quick thinker, smartass.

Appearance: She has dark tawny cat ears and tail, her eyes are blue with slits for pupils. She has brown hair that is shoulder length and wears regular every day clothes, but usually a black shortsleeved jacket over a red tank top with a pair of jeans.
Gift: she can talk to and control the fire powers of the demon that possesses her and also use his powers to make her own magic stronger.
Personal Belongings: always wears a necklace her brother gave to her with a pendant in the shape of a dragon
History:She was born into a litter of 5, and she had 2 sisters and a brother from an older litter. in her litter she had 3 brothers and 1 sister, and then of course she had her parents. at the age of 5 she came home one day to find her family had been slaughtered by a demon of the fire element. The only one left was her older brother, who was at the time fighting the demon. Her brother was winning and right before he killed the demon, it saw her and with the last of his strength channeled his spirit into her as a last act of spite toward her brother. at first she was confused and the demon tried to comtrol her but her brother gave her a necklace that he had charmed to supress the demon after he saw what was happening. when she got older she could control the demon herself and they eventually got along fairly well, almost as if they were friends but neither of them would admit that. She started learning fire magic once she turned 8, the demon had peaked her interest in it so her brother began to teach her. once she had obtained the ability to control her gift and use it to focus her powers, she and her brother went to the city to find work. At this time she was almost 11, and could already do a sustantial amount of damage when she got mad. Once she was so mad at her brother that she burnt down a building. This was when someone from the School for Gifted Indiviuals found her. He asked her and her brother if she was interested in enrolling and she did. She has been there ever since, and her brother works as an airship pilot.
Personality: Usually she is quite nice, but if you get her mad you had better run. She doesn't quite like the day to day schedules of the school and she would love an adventure, and she can sometimes she can be a bit wild.

Appearance: Short black hair, brown eyes, and 5'8". He's almost always dressed in a fitted black boots, pants, and shirt.
Gift: Runic Blade. So long as a sword is in his hands, or some other metal based weapon, he can direct magic towards him and absorb it through focus. Aside from that, he's decent with a sword, but has more speed than power.
Personal Belongings:
Rune Blade: Aside from the runes running up and down the blade, this looks like the average everyday and unadorned sword. This is used to help enhance the Runic technique.
The sword really is just an ordinary sword, but the runes themselves were enscribed with magical inks he had obtained with his family's money. He made the runes himself, based off the symbols several curses use to take effect. These runes resemble the curse which seal's a mage's power by absorbing any mana that's focused.
History: Once upon a time his family had been the greatest sorcerers in their region. Skilled in a special magic all their own, it is said they were instrumental in several civil wars, whether it had been to aid a rebellion or to put it down. So, when Ripel was born, the boy had been expected and trained to live up to their ancestor's legacy. To their joy, he had shown great potential in the magical arts, and all seemed well.
However, when Ripel was around ten a group of wizards who had been in a feud with his family for centuries suddenly struck from where they were hiding. Ripel, who had been away at school at the time, managed to return just in time to see not only his own home but the homes of everyone in the town be burned down by fire and lightning.
Though the criminals were eventually caught and punished, he could never forget that day. It haunted him, day and night, and he came to learn to hate magic. Throwing away his name, he gave up magic and made a silent vow to eliminate it from the world.
He enrolled in the school to further his research on how to do this.
Personality: Though generally cold and unfriendly to those who he doesn't know, he hates anyone who uses any form of offensive magic, particularly lightning. Blunt and to the point, he's a bit biased on many issues and can get angered easily.

Appearance: Between short and tall. Wears mostly green, with a leather vest.
Gift: The cold is his element. Brent can manipulate ice and cold beyond the ability of any common magic user.
Personal Belongings: A lance made of ice, which he can summon in an instant.
History: Brent lived in a snowy region far to the north when he was younger. His parents were gifted mages, and passed on that trait to Brent, which manifested itself in the form of an affinity for the cold weather of the climate. Just after Brent turned 14, an avalanche buried his home. Though Brent survived and escaped, his parents froze to death, leaving him completely alone. Using his well-honed skill, he formed himself an ice lance for a weapon and wandered south, looking for a new home.
Personality: Matches his element. Stoic and hardened, Brent shows little compassion.

Personal Belongings: A katana and a jitte (his father's)
History: Callous-Paw was born into a reletively poor family. His father was a taker of odd body jobs, body guarding and the such. His mother was content to stay at home and either bitch about their current situation or tell Callous about ways to live his life, following his superior orders and all that. When his father would come home from work he would please his wife by teaching his son the ways of the sword. When Callous-Paw beat his father at the age of 13, they knew he was special. They subtly 'showed off' their son and he was allowed into the school when he was scouted. The teachers came to enjoy him because he followed any and all of their orders and his dedication to training.
Personality: Callous was raised all his life to obey orders and the rules around him. As such, he tends to be a suck-up and narc. He is not unlikeable, he just really wants to make a good impression on the higherups. Around his normal friends and students alone, he enjoys most extracurricular activities, as long as their not rule breakers.

Race: Half-Elf (nothing special here, just slightly pointy ears and increased life span)
Age: 28, appears 20
Sex: Male
Appearance: Caucasian. About 5'6", and of slight build. His long hair is pulled back in a ponytail, and is dark brown with a streak of silver. He wears the school uniform with the jacket open. Glasses cover his blue-silver eyes.
Gift: Psionic powers, including mind reading, telepathy, and telekinesis. Because of the nature of his gift, healing magics refuse to work properly on him. Only more powerful or experienced healers are capable of adapting to his body's changes. First aid still works well enough.
Personal Belongings: Magical wards that allow access to the school library, essentially keys to the library.
History: Jonnas grew up the son of a well-known hero, who had decided to settle down and teach at the School for Gifted Individuals. When she was gifted with a son, she thought that the family heroing line would continue. This wasn't the case, however; while Jonnas learned the basics of combat and magic, he never managed to excel in either of these skills. Much worse, he preferred the quiet school library to the hustle of the heroing lifestyle. As he grew, his ubiquitousness in the library earned him a position as a librarian. He developed a reputation as the "cool librarian," always ready to help the students or teachers find an obscure or even off-limits document with his near-perfect memory of book placements.
During a routine filing of some new books, he found a strange gem hidden in one of the more higher-clearance books. Turning it over in his hand, it suddenly liquefied and forced itself into Jonnas' bloodstream, knocking him unconscious for several minutes. When he awoke, he could hear several people talking, but not to each other. Following the voices, he found several students looking for books and wondering aloud where a book was, or some other trivial thing. He was about to scold them for talking when he noticed their lips weren't moving.
Analysis found that the gem had actually filled in some of the folds and empty spaces in his brain, and was enabling him to use some strange powers. After training to at least shut out the idle thoughts of those around him, he joined the ranks of the students at the School in hopes of learning to control his newfound powers, and maybe even fulfill his mother's wishes for him to become a hero.
Personality: Jonnas is generally warm and agreeable, and prefers solitude and a good book over a large party. Part being his love of books, and part being the sheer amount of thought in a room at once. He also often seems to be daydreaming, and is sometimes distracted by what seems to be nothing. He views certain uses of his powers, such as mind control or mind diving, to be on an equal level as rape and refrains from using his powers on people, unless lives are being threatened. He looks at his ability to hear random surface thoughts as eavesdropping, and shuts it "off" whenever he's around people.

Race: Half-Elf
Age: 19
Sex: Male
Appearance: He's got the pointy ears, and the eyes, but the ears are usually hidden by his shaggy, reddish-brown hair. He's clean-shaven, and has a few tribal tattoos on his arms. When he wears the uniform, he always has the sleeves rolled up.
Gift: It's as much a gift as a curse. Ken is sociopathic, but this is coupled with almost magical martial prowess, and his near limitless patience, as well as willingness to study the body. What this ends up as is that fighting is as easy as breathing for him. This makes him think different too. Instead of thinking of talking, of slinking by, he thinks of "how can I take him down." And since he's sociopathic, he feels no remorse for this.
Personal Belongings: He doesn't carry anything. The odd time, he'll carry a scimitar or a cutlass, but usually he's willing to disarm people.
History: Ken's mother was actually raped by his father, and then she was dragged along. So, when Ken was born his father took it as a sign that the gods wanted a new leader for his tribe. At the age of thirteen, Ken was already able to match his father at sword-play, and was the second greatest hunter in the tribe. At the age of fourteen, Ken's father sold his mother to some golems for passage. At fifteen, Ken ran away. The school picked him up there, not because he was going to be a great hero, but because they were desperate to keep him from becoming a tyrannical blood-thirsty tyrant. So, he isn't in the school to become a hero, he's there to not become a monster. The instructors are slowly grooming him into the "conscience" thing, and he's learning more and more non-lethal ways of fighting. On the upside however, whenever the swordmaster shows up, Ken is a great instructor assistant.
Personality: Ken is a bit of an enigma. He doesn't speak unless he feels the need to, but when he does speak he's willing to toss out jokes. While he appears to brood, or to be EMO, it's actually that he feels no particular urge to speak or interact unless he has to. This is also a sign of his sociopathy. However, while he has no empathy, he understands the feeling of not wanting to do what you do, so he's quite helpful for some people.

Job: He's an assistant for the swordmaster. He also helps around the library, and helps the janitor. Usually, he'll help people around the school who want help.

Name: Kiros Sitharian
Race: Human
Age: 21
Sex: Male
Appearance: Kiros is a relatively pale individual, but it's not because of a lack of sunlight--he just doesn't seem to tan very easily, which makes his dark brown hairs and bright green eyes even more apparant against his smooth pale skin. He's also relatively effeminate, and is sometimes mistaken for a woman when he happens to bother shaving. His hair is relatively long and hangs down in front of one eye, hanging to his chin, and reaches below his shoulders on the back. Sometimes he catches hell about it from the stricter school personelle, because it conflicts with the dress code, but they'd rather keep him around if for no other reason than to figure out exactly WHAT his gift is. They know what it does, but not how or why.
Gift: He's extremely lucky, although people aren't exactly sure why. An arrow could be fired at him and knocked off course by a particularily strong gust of wind. He could accidentally trip just in time to avoid an assassin's dagger. If this happened just occassionally no one would suspect him of being gifted at all, but it happens constantly. So constantly in fact, that he doesn't have a single scar on his body. However, he has absolutely horrible luck in other things, mostly involving people (see history), as well.
Gift Source:A magical disruption at the time of his birth caused his 'karma' to become horribly skewed.
Personal Belongings: Some personal effects (high quality clothing, playing cards, comb, that kind of thing, nothing really special) he owned before enrolling and brought with. He also has a good amount of money and can afford to get what he wants from the shops or elsewhere without working, for the most part.
History: Kiros learned early about his ungodly luck involving all things physical, and quickly became a professional gambler by the age of 15, however, that didn't last too terribly long. He was able to make quite a bit of money very quickly, however he NEVER lost a hand and this, understandably led to problems. Problems he was easily able to get out of with more of his trademark luck. When a table of angry gamblers would come after him they'd usually end up impaling themselves, or he'd slip and knock them over so they'd bang their heads and knock themselves out. However, he never quite had luck with women. So bad in fact that everytime he cared for one (he's going on five now), they immediately, and inexplicably, found prince charming. However, it wasn't RIGHT when he started caring, no, it was always at the absolutely worst point of the relationship, when he cared the most. The most recent to leave him, he had just bought her engagement ring. He's also spent many nights in jail on charges of murder or manslaughter, even though he'd never actually killed anyone.
When he finally ended up in the school it was thanks to one of the teachers passing by and noticing him outnumbered 10 to one by a group of bandits. Well, the teacher rushed in to do the whole 'heroic' thing, but, by the time he had rode up, Kiros had knocked one unconcious, two others had run each other through, and another had knocked one of his friends out when Kiros slid on a bit of mud. He was more than a little surprised, but Kiros explained that it happened all the time. The teacher stayed with him awhile to see if it was true, and sure enough, over the next week Kiros had managed to get into 4 fights, every one of which he was outnumbered, and, in every one, he managed to 'fight off' the aggressors with blind stupid luck. Not to mention all the hands of poker he won.
He was brought to the school to be 'studied' and taught.
Personality: Kiros is a bit manic depressive. He's been hurt a lot over the years by women and it has, naturally, left him with a few emotional scars. He's been known to drop into bouts of depression for almost no reason whatsoever. However, on the other hand, he's also had a stupidly easy and fun, if lonely, life. He tends to believe life is a beautiful thing and stays pretty happy whenever he isn't thinking about a lost love. He's also vastly immature for his age, but he does show the odd glint of age-gained wisdom from time to time.
Job: He doesn't have a job, persay, but whenever there's a teacher or some new student that doesn't know about him yet, he likes to 'rob them blind' in a few games of cards. The teachers try to dissuade this, but many of the more immature students
think it's hillarious.

Race:Lizardling (A Lizardling is a reptilian humaniod with a long tail. Lizardling rarely use weapons due to their sharp claws and teath. Killing machines Lizardling almost never can or will use magic, any using it are considered weaklings.

Appearance: 7'3'', 215 lbs. Scaly skin, strong very long flexible tail. Sharp needlelike claws on hand and feet.

Gift: Trassus the unique ability to faintly hypnotize a person like a snake. Trassus has to have eye to eye contact with the person that he is trying to hypontize. (
Personal Belongings: None
History: Trassus was the 235th of 567 baby Lizardlings. After caring for the new Lizardling until they are oriented from birth, however as is their custom Lizardling parents leave their children to fend for themselves in the wild, so Trassus parents did, but the prejediced mobs of humanity has learned of this and exploited it to dramatically decrease the survival rate of just born Lizardling. The humans came into the cave after the parents had left to crush the newborns, but even baby Lizardlings can kill. However even after killing many of the mobbing humans the last of the Lizardling were killed, except for Trassus. He had escapen the slaughter through a hole in the back of the cave in which he was born. Trassus got found in a pitiful state by a enlightened man who cared for him. Growing up Trassus learned both the evil and the good that humanity could commit. Leaving the kind man Trassus became a warrior until he was picked up by the guild.
Personality: Trassus is serious almost all of the time and jokes almost never go past him. Trassus is a good soul and he seaks to right injustices and destroy prejedice. Trassus has a weakness for chocolate and would do anything to get the delicous substance.

Personal Belongings: Wears a necklace that he got from the woman who raised him. It is silverish with a black/purple colored gem.
Personality: Azarias is a loner, most of the time he is the quiet type.
History: Azarias was born in a ordinary village close to a big mountain. A few weeks after Azarias was born the village was raided by a demonic race that lived in the darknes of the mountain. Everyone was slaughtered and Azarias was taken into the mountain as a sacrifice to their demonic gods. Azarias was placed on a altar and the shaman started chanting in the demonic tongue. (The demon language) Although the ritual was interupted by a band of adventurers who with their impresive skills and powers made the fiends flee. The ritual was unfinished and the link between the shadow world in which their demon god was residing and the mortal one was still open, although not enough for the demon to steal Azarias soul and posses the body. This link gave Azarias enhanced shadow control and magic, but the demon is not just letting Azarias steal power from his realm without a price.
(I will let IHMN decide the "price" If he wants me to make it I will of course do as he says) One of the Adventurers felt the link connected to Azarias soul and took him with her to the school the second she heard about it.

History: Jess hails from very rich parents. In fact, Jess was named after their recently purchased fresh cruiseliner, the Jessabella. She was raised like a princess, given tons of attention and love, and many expectations were placed on her shoulders. For example, running the financial empire that her parents owned. However, these practices took a back seat when her parents discovered Jess singing one day...and tentacles of water flailing from the sea. When she stopped singing, the water obeyed physics and gravity and returned to the sea. Her powers discovered, it wasn't long before the school approached Jess's parents about her powers. Her parents enrolled her in the school so that she would grow up with her power matured and herself a wonderful lady which wouldn't bring throuble on her parent's big business. Jess enrolled herself into the school for reasons unknown. Jess doesn't look too enthusiastic about one day heading her parent's business. It's pretty obvious when she's with them that she has dreams of her own, and that her parent's designs for her would make her own hopes impossible to accomplish.
Personality: Jessabella is quiet, reserved, and very ladylike, detailing her life of a noble upbringing with little time to make friends from the local people her age. She doesn't communicate well with anyone other than close personal girl friends, and has trouble speaking her mind, unless when she's singing. Her songs are very beautiful, just like she is.

Race: Plain old vanilla human.

Appearance: Spunky, moderately attractive black tomboy. Lithe and muscular, the outdoorsy kind of person.She keeps her hair short and wears sensible clothes, like jeans (she absolutely refuses to wear skirts) and a T-shirt and is rarely seen without her half-gloves, even when off her bike.
Gift: Telekinesis
Gift Source: She was exposed to radiation from a ZPE reactor malfunction, and for some strange and unknown reason, she became able to lift objects and fling them around like telekinesis.
Her talent is quite limited so far - she can only pick up objects in a 20 meter range, she can only affect one object at once, and it can't weigh more than 50 kilograms. However, anything within those limits can be seized, freely manipulated without worrying about weight and launched at frightening speeds.

History:Alex's father was an absent-minded physical engineer who built a device that used zero point energy to physically affect objects. However, as he was showing it off to his daughter one day, a power surge caused the machine to explode and showered the room in strange radiation. In accordance with the laws of superheroic genetic modification, Alex found that she could move objects around by force of will, much like telekinesis. After a series of accidents (including a dining table shoved through the wall during a fit of adolescent angst), her parents shipped her off to the school.
Personality: Gregarious and enthusiastic about most things, and is eager to help other people out. Doesn't tolerate idiocy and is especially vocal about that sort of thing.

History: A few years ago, Jerod was a young man living out his life in a farming village. They were experiencing a drought, and a sorcerer passing through who was gifted in weather magic conjured up a storm to provide rain. During the storm, Jerod was outside checking out some of the crops when he was struck by lightning. He made a full recovery under the care of the sorcerer and the local doctor, but the bolt created other effects. People started getting a good shock if they touched him, and Jerod knew this wasn't normal. He quickly figured out that somehow the bolt turned him into a human capacitor, but knowing what the power is is a far cry from being able to control it. As a result, he discharged into nearly everything for a while, and was lucky that nobody got seriously hurt in the process. The School heard of his gift through the sorcerer who had come and gone, and brought him in to help him gain control of his ability.
Personality: Jerod values his time to himself. He has some friends, and is a good friend in return, but a lot of the time he usually prefers solitude. He tends not to start conversations, but will enter them if he knows about what's being discussed. He's pretty smart, and is good at deductive puzzles of all kinds.

Appearance: 5'7" slightly build female with a blossoming curve. Chrysalis has a finely chiselled face inset with warm brown almond-shaped eyes, and framed with wavy, black hair. She a slender asian in appearance, towards the prettier end. When not in her uniform, she is often seen wearing baggy clothing (oversized, t-shirt/jumper, slightly oversized pants)
Gift: able to nullify, increase or decrease anybody else's magic as long as they are within a radius of 5' of her. So far, she is unable to extend or withdraw the radius, and cannot affect gifts as long as the user is outside the radius (eg, if someboty uses telekinesis on her outside the radius, she cannot stop them). She has also not figured out how to 'turn' off the talent either. Due to her magical nature, if she is injured to the point of unconsciousness, healing magic/powers does not work on her.
Gift Source: Mother and father's hatred of magic or anything out of the extraordinary collected into the mother's womb and was stored into her. Her parent's hatred was so strong that it transformed into a solid form (the gift) in their daughter.
Personal Belongings: She always carries about her a small rubix cube, though is never seen playing with it, and the actual nature of the cube is unknown. It was given to her by her parents. She also possesses a red backpack with a spare change of clothes and a simple first aid kit.
History: Chrysalis' parents were traumatised when they were children in separate instances by the misuse of magic or special gifts. They grew up and married due to that tie to hatred of anything out of the ordinary. Chrysalis was born as a living manifestation of their hatred, but not with the emotion itself. Instead, the power of their hatred was channeled into something completely different: the ability to affect other individual's powers. Her parents, however, did not notice this particular gift until very late, when a couple of unruly fire-gifted teenage boys decided to 'have some fun' with her. When her parents came to her rescue, they found her beaten, but not burnt by fire. The boys were sent off to the gifted school to discipline them in the use of their magical talent, but since Chrysalis displayed no real gift other than the fact that she miraculously escaped being burnt to a fiery crisp, she slipped through the net.
It was after that incident that more things began to happen: people gifted with strength suddenly were reduced to normality in her presence, when she joined in races, those gifted with unnatural speed ran a lot more slower, and more importantly, when she was inflicted by an extremely dangerous disease, she had to take antibiotics to get well again, because no healer could work their magic on her.
A passing teacher, one day, noticed that particular strangeness about her. When he tried to reach out with his telekinesis through touch to Chrysalis, he found that he could not access his ability. This both intrigued and frightened the teacher, and so he persuaded her parents to let her join a school for special students, and even get PAID for it, and promised that Chrysalis will be able to come home whenever she wishes. Her parents, experiencing financial problems, leapt at the prospect, and so she has arrived with minimal training due to the teacher that travelled with her.
Personality: Chrysalis is quiet and very unobtrusive, though she is extremely inquisitive, and excels in science, in which she was studying before she came to the school. She doesn't tend to talk much unless spoken to, or during class when she has a burning desire to ask a question. She likes quiet environments, but although she is shy, those that befriend her know that she possesses a dry, sarcastic humour.
Because of her birth, Chrysalis has never been seen angry.

Gift: Control and production of electricity, however it gets uncontrollable if he uses it in the rain.
Gift Source: Was struck by lightening and instead of dying, the lightning merged with his cellular structure.
Personal Belongings: Paramedic bag which he keeps in his room, cigarettes.
History: Just your average paramedic who was working one night during a storm and got a little too close to a fence. The fence was struck, and because Gabriel was touching it, the electricity passed through his body giving him his powers.
Gabriel had been living away from home, taking a year off from school to make some money by working full time as a medic. After accidentally blowing a tree up with his powers during a rainstorm, he decided to enroll in the shcool to keep him out of trouble.
Personality: Generally a happy guy, but he does have a short fuse. Don't provoke him or he'll go off with a string of obscenities that would make most nuns pass out. He likes to smoke whenever he gets the chance, but will drop everything when he is needed to work, whether it be intubating someone to putting in an IV.

Gift: Can change ordinary items into weapons, but only of the same kind of model. (Ex. change a stick into a large bo staff, change a sharp rock into a dagger, etc. Cannot change a leaf into a hammer, or other stupid obvious things like that.)
Gift Source: Crazy blacksmith uncle that toyed with magic.
Personal Belongings: Amulet with a picture of his parents inside of it. It was given to him by his uncle, and he never took it off.
History: Samoht's parents were both killed when Samoht was very young, so he was sent to live with his uncle. His uncle was a famous blacksmith, and they got along great together. However, his uncle had gotten a charm from a powerful magician that would make it easier for him to create weapons. Samoht found the charm, and through an accident, the charm became absorbed into Samoht's skin. Samoht now had the powers of the charm for life.
Personality: Likes to be involved with things, but isn't normally accepted. Dark Elves tend to be shunned by normal elves. Thankfully, there are many humans at the school, and they don't normally care about Dark Elves. Samoht doesn't take many things seriously, and gets bored easily.

Appearance:Jerle stands a staggering 6'5" but isn't very well built. He slouches forward most of the time and his parents had often tried to fix his posture to no avail. He has very dark brown hair that is slowly turning black with time. Piercing blue eyes, often stare off into the distance, behind bangs that cover almost down to the bottom of his eyes. The rest of his hair is of about equal length and curls in random directions. It's often hard to tell if he ever brushes his hair. Jerle is usually about as pale as a ghost but on occasion he breaks with his indoor life to have some fun outdoors. This usually results in a sunburn after a short period of time. Clothing, when not in uniform, varies but usually consists of darker color clothing and some sort of long coat with many pockets.
Gift: Jerle has the ability to use and learn, often through experiments, alchemy very easily. (Think FMA and a bit of the traditional stuff they tried to do in the past.)
Gift Source: Jerle's power is the consequence of growing up near an alchemst who dumped failed experiments into the pond where he used to swim.
Personal Belongings: He has a small set of chemicals and equipment that was gifted to him by the alchemist he used to live next to. The alchemist noticed Jerle's gifts and had given him some lessons before sending him to the school and decided to give him a gift as a going away present. Along with this set of equipment the alchemist gave him a few pieces of alchemic calk which aids in the drawing of circles for the same reason as above.
History: Jerle's family grew up rather poor on the outskirts of a medium sized city. They never wanted for anything thought because his mother worked for the alchemist that lived near them. Instead of paying her in money he would help with the growing of crops and fixing things when needed. Jerle's father worked hard in the fields which through the alchemist help always provided more than enough food. Jerle's father wanted Jerle to follow him into his profession as a farmer but as he grew older Jerle began to have other ideas. There was a nice pond behind the alchemist house that he was warned not to play around many times. Ignoring the advice as most children do he would often take long swims in it's water. The chemicals and ambiant magical energies in the water gifted him with a talent for alchemy and the channeling of alchemical magic. That combined with the teaching of the owner of the pond gave him a great headstart on life.
Personality: Jerle seems withdrawn most of the time simply because he doesn't like large groups of people. Most of the time he will hover around the edge of a large group and simply listen. After he gets to know a person he can be very chatty. Sometimes he can be a little too chatty. In small groups of people he knows well he can also be quite chatty. Other than that he is a hard worker that likes to share his knowledge to anyone in need or anyone that will listen, provided he is in a small group. He also has a very unique sense of humor that is highly focused on his acute sense of irony.

So he's basically an Albino Gryphon. He has Bright golden eyes. He wears a semblance of the school outfit. As the typical one can't be tailored to him very well.
Gift: He is super intelligent, even when compared to the average human.
Gift Source: He was the result of an experiment to give Intelligence to animals.
Personal Belongings: He has a sort of dog tag around his neck with his name and the place he was created.
History: Gold Claw was the result of an Experiment. He was one of a clutch of 7 eggs. He was the only successful Experiment though. The scientists tried a variety of mixtures of Science and magic. They are not certain if the results will be permanent however and intend to study Him his entire life. Gold Claw, as intelligent as he is, has no problem understanding there needs and Goes a long with this so long as they allow him to learn as he chooses. He Specializes in Mathematics, Probabilities, and Geometric designs.
Personality: Rather Shy and nervous. He loves learning new things and accepts all things as being equal. He is however used to peoples awkwardness around him. He dose enjoy using his talents to Beat people at games and puzzles. He dose occasionally partake in combat training and sparring.

History: Alina used to go to a private all-girls school. With her kind personality, she was easily taken advantage of by other, bolder girls who always treated her badly and would often use her as their scapegoat, making her do all of their homework for them, and then making fun of her behind her back. One particularly bad day, Alina seemed to take a drastic change after looking in a mirror and thus, her alter ego, Caley Oria, emerged. Caley, Alina's polar opposite in personality, sought for revenge from all of the people who had treated Alina badly, and made each one of them pay, one way or another, which had also led to the partial destruction of the school. Also with the emergance of Caley, her power of telepathy awoke as well. After that occurance, Caley started emerging more and seeking revenge for Alina. Before long, Alina's parents admitted her to The School for Gifted Individuals to try and see if they could help calm her alter ego and refine her powers.
Personalities:
Alina- quiet, studeous, very non-violent. She would like to be social and make friends, but she has a hard time talking to other people. She enjoys drawing and is left handed. Wears glasses or contacts. Is still refining her skills in her psychic blasts. Alina isn't aware of the other personalities inside of her and "loses time" whenever one of them take over or "take the spot".
Caley- the embodyment of Alina's self-confidence; loud, outspoken, if she has something on her mind, she'll say it. Sees herself as Alina's protector and will set out to get revenge on people who have treated her badly, or people who need to be "taught a lesson", she sometimes she tends to go overboard. Caley is aware of the other personalities inside of Alina and is always aware of what is going on. Caley doesn't need glasses, and can't draw worth anything.
Rabere- the embodyment of Alina's hate and anger towards the way Alina has been treated and how she lets herself get treated. Strangely enough Rabere is a man. He is very violent and will target whoever had weakened Alina and Caley enough to let him "take the spot". Rabere is the only one who can take the telepathy blasts and turn them into psychokinetic blasts, so he can not only turn someone's mind to mush, but he can shove them across the room and break them through a wall. Rabere rarely emerges, and so far, Caley is the only one who is aware of him.
